45 Round Practice Session – Ken Hackathorn
Remember to always wear eye and ear protection
Rounds: 45 Rounds
Targets: Three (3) USPSA or Silhouette
Magazines: One (1)
Other: Holster and Magazine Pouch, Tape
3 Yards: Close-in retention. Fire Two (2) rounds. Perform Three (3) times – Six (6) rounds total
5 Yards: Strong hand only. Fire single or double rounds – Six (6) rounds total
3 Yards: Back away from target 3-4 yards, shooting Three (3) rounds while moving. Perform Two (2) times – Six (6) rounds total
7 Yards: Double taps. Perform Three (3) times – Six (6) rounds total
7 Yards: Step a few paces to the left of target. Draw and fire Three (3) rounds while crossing to the right in front of target – Three (3) rounds total
7 Yards: Step a few paces to the right of the target. Draw and fire Three (3) rounds while crossing to the left in front of the target – Three (3) rounds total
6-10 Yards: Three targets. Fire One (1) round at the first target, One (1) round at the second target, Two (2) rounds at the third target, One (1) round at the second target, and One (1) round at the first target – Six (6) rounds total
6-10 Yards: Three Targets. Fire Two (2) rounds (Double Tap) into each target – Six (6) rounds total
7 Yards: Place weapon on ground. Put strong hand in belt behind your back. Pick up weapon with weak hand, fire One (1) round. Perform Two (2) times – Two (2) rounds total
15 Yards: Draw and fire One (1) precise shot in 2.5 seconds. Perform Three (3) times – Three (3) rounds total
